Giverny – Monet’s Garden

9 Jun

We have also been to Giverny. In the hotel we stayed at there was a nest outside the bathroom window it had two eggs in its nest.

In Monet’s gardens it was beautiful but packed with people. There was a very very old house where a famous painter called Claude Monet lived. We got to see some of his most famous paintings but some were just copied versions. There was a beautiful water lily garden. Lots of people from all over the world travel to France just to see the Monet’s gardens. On the purple flower there is a bumble bee. They are bees that we don’t have in Australia. An interesting fact is they don’t have ears. Compared to Australian bees, bumble bees are fat and furry.
